a- Leave:

• Residents benefit from one month’s leave per year during which they receive the service allowance in accordance with the regulations in force;
• Residents who are not civil servants can benefit from sick leave and maternity leave under the same conditions as temporary public administration employees.

b- Functional allowance:

• Remuneration is provided in accordance with the regulations in force, in particular Article 27 of Order No. 2.15.990 of 7 Choual 1437 (July 12, 2016) amending and supplementing Order No. 2.91.527 of 21 Dou Al Kiada 1413 (May 13, 1993);

c- Mutations and permutations between Hospital Centers:

• Transfers from one training center to another are not authorized for reasons related to the training capacities of the Hospital Centers and the programming process. However, on an exceptional basis, and depending on the reception capacities of the hospital center requested, duly justified changes in training centers may be admissible.
• With an equal course in the same specialty, residents can apply for a permutation with the agreement of the heads of the respective training departments, the directors of the Hospital Centers and the deans of the faculties are submitted to the National Commission for instructions. The implementation of training center changes falls within the competence of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

d- Coverage of work-related illnesses and accidents:

• Residents who are not civil servants are subject to the regime instituted by the dahir of 25 hija 1345 (25 June 1927) modified in form by dahir n° 1-60-223 of 12 moharrem 1382 (6 February 1963) relating to the compensation for accidents at work;
• Occupational illnesses are covered by insurance taken out by the hospital centre;
• Illnesses and accidents not resulting in permanent disability are treated free of charge in hospitals

e- Change of specialty:

• A request for a change of specialty, exceptionally, may be admissible during the first trimester of residency and only within the specialty group to which the applicant belongs.

f- Status change:

• The non-contract resident can apply for a contract resident position, depending on budgetary possibilities.
• The contractual resident cannot, under any circumstances, submit a request for a change of status.

1. Leave:

• The date of departure on leave is set by joint decision of the dean of the faculty of medicine and pharmacy or the dean of the faculty of dentistry and the director of the hospital center concerned on the proposal of the professor head of hospital service;< /li>

2. Internship attendance and discipline:

• Apart from the cases provided for by the regulations in force, no absence is authorized. Any unjustified absence or administrative or professional fault committed by the resident is liable to disciplinary sanctions in accordance with the regulations in force;
• It is mandatory to wear the badge inside the hospital;

3. Others:

• No one can claim the title of former resident if he has not validated all the years and obtained the diploma of the specialty concerned;
• Civilian and military residents of hospitals are subject to the provisions of the internal regulations of the establishment to which they are assigned;
• The disciplinary component is governed by Decree No. 2-91-527 of 21 Kaada 1413 (May 13, 1993) relating to the situation of externs, interns and residents of hospital centers, in particular Articles 30- 32.
