Emergency structures guarantee the reception, triage and care, by qualified personnel, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, of any patient presenting with an emergency.
The regulation and coordination of emergencies between the hospitals making up the Center and other healthcare establishments is provided by the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU).
The SAMU ensures a permanent medical listening, triggers and determines as soon as possible the response best suited to the nature of the call.
It includes a regulation system provided by a coordinating doctor (Centre for the Regulation of Medical Calls: CRAM), effectors (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Services (SMUR) and an Emergency Care Teaching Center (CESU).

N.B: The admission of a dead person to the emergency room is prohibited.
❱ Formalities
Urgent admission is pronounced even in the absence of administrative documents;
Admission formalities will be completed within 48 hours.
❱ Ordinary admission
This refers to any full or day hospitalization scheduled outside of emergencies;
Ordinary admission can only be made during normal working hours;
If the doctor decides to hospitalize the patient, an appointment will be assigned according to the hospitalization agenda specific to each department.

➀ Bring your hospital appointment voucher given by your attending physician to the consultation;
➁ Retrieve your “medical decision to hospitalize” from the hospitalization department;
➂ Contact the Admissions and Billing Office (BAF) with the following documents depending on your situation:
Liaison form (signed and stamped by the attending physician, from the original public health structure);
Two copies of the CNIE (front / back);
Two CNIE copies from one of the parents or guardian (if the patient is a minor);
Two copies of the valid Ramède card (front / back).

Don’t forget to prepare your admission in advance:
Plan what you need:
Your outstanding treatment;
Your existing medical records and any documentation from your attending physician;
Administrative papers (CIN card, card from your insurance scheme, etc.);
Your personal linen (pajamas, slippers, etc.);
Toiletries (towel, soap, toothbrush, razor, etc.;
Baby essentials if you are hospitalized at the Mother and Child Hospital;
Be aware that your laundry is not insured by the hospital;
Leave your money and valuables at home. If not, drop them off at the board as soon as you arrive. In case of refusal to follow the following procedure, be aware that the hospital declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage.
