The CHU Souss Massa (CHU SM) is a public health establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy. It was created following Decree No. 2-17-589 of 9 Kaada 1439 (07\/23\/2018) taken for the application of Law No. 70-13 relating to University Hospital Centers, published in Official Bulletin No. 6696 of 19 Kaada 1439 (02\/08\/2018). In terms of organization, the centers are transversal structures bringing together activities, units and\/or medical services which may be attached to different departments.
